“What would I find

if I could see

within your soul?

A deep hole,

hope dust,

from too many times

feeling lost?

What would I find

if I could see

within your eyes?

pieces of night

with no trace of delight?

What would I feel

if I could hold your hand?

Coldness from your frozen words,

warmth from your

burning thoughts?

But,

What would I discover

if I could see your mind?

maybe something that

would hunt me at night?

things left undone,

words left unspoken

and hopes…

that are broken?”
